Ginny Fox is a New York artist whose paintings explore the merging of color, light, and surface within a minimal, meditative, and geometric format. The most recent paintings are richly layered, multi part acrylic on clayboard panels. Many of the paintings can be installed in a variety of configurations, with bands of color that almost, but don’t quite connect, evoking a sense of both continuity and change. The work references many different natural materials- earth, stone, wood, etc, yet the end result is a unique amalgamation all its own.

Ginny Fox has had numerous solo shows in
New York. Her work has been exhibited extensively throughout the United States.
